Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan
- Rajeeva Nayan Pathak
Good morning everyone,
Today we celebrate Raksha Bandhan—a festival of love, trust, and responsibility.
A sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist, and the brother promises protection.
Boys—this is for you.
When your sister ties that rakhi, she is trusting you with her safety, her dignity, her peace of mind.
To keep that trust, you must be strong—not just in body, but in mind and in character.
Strength means—studying well, making a goal, staying away from bad habits, and standing for what is right.
Take a vow today—to be a man your sister, your family, and your nation can rely on.
Girls—this is for you.
Why should you always depend on someone else for protection?
Be independent.
Study hard. Exercise. Learn self-defense.
Make your own goal—and chase it with courage.
Be so strong that you can protect yourself, and also stand beside your brothers when they need you.
My dear students—
True protection is not given, it is built.
Boys and girls—both must be strong in body, mind, and heart.
When both sides are strong, the family is unshakable, the society is safe, and the nation stands tall.
So today, let us take a vow—
Boys: to be responsible, disciplined, and brave.
Girls: to be confident, independent, and wise.
And all of us—to protect each other’s dreams and dignity.
Stay strong. Stay united. Stay committed to your values.
That is the true spirit of Raksha Bandhan.
"बुद्धिर्यस्य बलं तस्य, संयमः स्याद् जयः सदा।
इन्द्रियाणि वशे यस्य, स गच्छति परं पदम्॥"
That is-
He whose intellect is strong gains victory through self-control.
The one who keeps his senses in check reaches the highest goal.
Happy Raksha Bandhan to all of you!
